Absolutely adorable, and awesome for digital art! There's no shame in going digital, that's the only way I can get my stuff on here

Alright, time to tell you what you did wrong

The proportions are really nice this time. I don't see any sort of disproportion that's not so dramatic that it can't as easily be noticed. Nonetheless, their hands are still a bit small, and their bodies a bit bony. Now, I never really thought characters were suppose to be so malnurished, but if this is a cute affect, then it's ok.
I can't say anything on colors, I just use the paint bucket.
All around, I don't see anything anymore wrong in this pic. Others will tell you more, but you and me are both still like neophytes compared to the great painters of the world, so you just keep doin' better.
